I have over ten years of international branding and integrated marketing experience both on the client and agency side, especially in the entertainment industry, and have created award-winning integrated campaigns for major brands such as Volkswagen, Sony Electronics, and NBC among others. I am currently the Head of Entertainment Marketing for Volkswagen AG, in charge of branded entertainment, product integration, licensing, and original content opportunities in television, feature films (with all major studios), home video, and new media. Most recently I managed its multi-million dollar partnership with NBC Universal, which included a highly successful worldwide promotion around the blockbuster hit "The Bourne Ultimatum" which resulted in a substantial increase in sales.
I also have considerable consumer product strategic marketing experience. At Sony Electronics I launched the Handycam video camera into Latin America. The marketing strategy and communications program I spearheaded not only made the Handycam the number one video camera in Latin America, but also the advertising campaign I managed won international acclaim as the "Best Ad" in Advertising Age International Advertising Effectiveness Awards.
I am fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) and proficient in Portuguese.
