I am responsible for an active litigation dependency caseload which entails on average sixty to eighty hearings a month. In addition to the standard litigation demands of the cases, I handle all the dependency drug court cases. I am engaged in the entire process and success of drug court. I have worked with my drug court team to bring the client number from ten to almost sixty. The drug court project has expanded and improved. I rewrote and developed the drug court administrative order, drug court contract, and all the orders, forms and recommendations used in the courtroom. Regular communication has allowed the drug court model court to accomplish expedited resolutions to the cases and more successful clients.
I currently represent the Office of the Attorney General as a “stakeholder” in the statewide initiative to discuss and develop model courts and new initiatives in the dependency court system.
