Locating a sample resume is one thing, but knowing how to fill in the information to create a professional and effective resume for your needs is quite another. You can find millions of sample resumes on the internet, but the personality is missing in a sample resume. It is up to you to add the personality, the punch, to bring the resume to life in order to help you obtain a job. While a sample resume is a great starting point it is up to you to make it into an attention grabber so that you can land an interview and eventually a job.

Address the needs of the company to show that you’ve done your research, show through your goals and objectives that you can answer these issues. This is a matter of not only telling the employer what you have to offer, but that you are aware that some of the needs of the company may need additional attention and you are prepared to give it.
These few pieces of advice can make or break your resume, so don’t assume that just because you are using a sample resume that all the work is done for you, it isn’t. It is up to you to make the resume represent you, not just use the right layout and show experience.
