This candidate may list having a solid understanding of prime rates, loan to value ratio (LTVR), amortization tables, and things of that nature. Personal qualifications may include having great communication skills, being highly organized and detail oriented. This area is organized in list format which can utilize bullet points if so desired.

Each and every job that is pertinent to the position being applied for will be listed beginning with the most recent. The name of the company dates of employment and location of the company will be immediately followed by specific tasks that were part of the job specifications. A loan officer might list those responsibilities as taking loan applications, verifying information, analyzing creditworthiness, calculating rates and finance charges and other related tasks. Especially when it comes to tasks involving money, be as specific as possible.
Education Requirements for a Financial Resume
Every financial institution will have specific educational requirements for any given position. However, many jobs will require a minimum of an undergraduate degree in finance or business management. A loan officer may need a B.S. in the field, whereas a branch manager may need a Master’s in Business Administration. Begin the education portion of the financial resume with the highest degree achieved along with the name of the school, the date the degree was obtained and any special areas of study which may be pertinent. Most resumes work chronologically backward from there through, and including, high school.
Each job within the field will utilize a resume formatted with the same basic layout, but the focus will be on a specific area of finance. Financial resume samples in relation to these positions can be found online to provide more in depth assistance.
