The second page should include your education, degrees and certifications and your references. Remember this is a professional resume and you need to include three professional references. A potential employer isn’t going to be happy if they begin calling references and find out that some phone numbers aren’t in service or that each of the people listed haven’t seen you since high school, or that they are family members. Include only complete, correct contact information for 3 previous coworkers or employers as references.
Keep your resume succinct and straightforward. It isn’t an essay or a poem; it is a basic outline of your professional history, abilities and promise. A simple layout with all the necessary information will draw the eye of a potential employer more than a 6 page detailed life story. If they want to read a biography they can go to a library, if they want to hire the best person for the job they will read your resume.
Now you know how to write a professional resume. While the content is the main thing, you should also pay attention to the font you use and the spacing. Make sure that your resume is easy to read and organized in a manner that the information flows somewhat in order.
