Business development is a catchall term for anything that can’t be translated precisely into sales, marketing, logistics, and other general terms. Because of the sheer variety of potential meanings, entry-level business development opportunities abound, but you need a great resume to get noticed. Ultimately, you need a customized one for each position.
An entry-level position means you must highlight your skills and qualifications. Typically, degrees get you noticed, but relevant experience in a similar field also helps. Talk about how you’ve worked as a team, solving problems in a creative environment, and add in any certifications you have that are relevant.
Either way, you need a solid resume, and our business development entry-level resume templates can help get you there.

Professional Summary
I first discovered my passion for environmental policy and Illinois history while working for Shoreline Sightseeing’s architectural tours on the Chicago River. This inspired me to focus on these areas during my senior year at U of I.
Currently, I enjoy volunteering with Friends of the Chicago River as an Eco-Warrior and at the McCormick Bridgehouse Museum on free admission Sundays.
I am seeking to work with a passionate organization in an environmental-focused industry or not-for-profit.
I supported myself financially throughout college and continue to do so today.
