Healthcare is a vital industry, but entry-level public health jobs are more about securing the health of the city and the residents within by enforcing laws and regulations. Before you can help set or carry out public health policy, you have to land a job in the niche, so you’re going to need a well-written resume.
While degrees are a fairly standard requirement, a high-school diploma may be sufficient for entry-level public health jobs. Check job listings for requirements and ensure you highlight education on your resume as appropriate. Other things to make note of include customer service experience and communication and analytical skills.
